We Rest, That We May Climb

It has been a full day in the monastery.  Now we prepare to "climb the ladder of lectio," toward a deeper immersion in the Word of God.  May we be directed by Jesus, our only Lord. 

 Protect us, Lord, as we stay awake.  Watch over us as we sleep.  That awake, we may keep watch with Christ.  And asleep, rest in His peace......
